TikTok has recruited two experienced retail professionals who previously worked at Amazon and USAMeta to oversee its ambitious venture of establishing a substantial US e-commerce business, according to an August 8 report by The Information. Additionally, Sandie Hawkins, the US e-commerce general manager at TikTok, is reportedly departing from the company, an individual familiar with the matter said. Furthermore, TikTok is preparing to market its own products and has been engaging brands to sell their products through the app, the report stated. [The Information]
